Program Roles/Cost

  • Participants: $265 ($50 deposit)
  • Adult Chaperone: $265 ($50 deposit)
  • Young Team: $235 ($50 deposit)

All Deposits are due May 2. Remaining Payment due 4 weeks prior to start date of program. See chart below for more details.

Participant Requirements: Group Registration

  • Rising High School Sophomore to rising High School Senior
  • Participants cannot attend the same Gospel Roads twice, or more than one Gospel Roads program a year.
  • Gospel Roads participants do not have to be Catholic, but must be open to both the Catholic Faith and respectfully participating in all religious aspects of the program.
  • Adult Chaperone must come from local work
  • All Registration/Payment must go through the CYM (School) or Service Coordinator (Parishes). This means the CYM or Service Coordinator must register all of the participants.
  • No individual checks will be accepted from GROUP REGISTRATION

Participant Requirements: Individual Registration (Salesian High Schools Only)

  • Rising College Freshmen or 17-18 and graduated from High School (Maximum of 5 total)
  • Must have come from Salesian work (School, Parish, Youth Centers)
  • Must have completed a GR Program
  • All individual registrations must submit a recommendation from their CYM or Parish
  • Participants cannot attend the same Gospel Roads twice, or more than one Gospel Roads program a year.

Young Team Requirements

  • Rising High School Juniors to Rising College Freshmen
  • 5 minimum – 8 maximum* (*Size of the YT is dependent on the program size and needs of the Director.)
  • Must have attended a Gospel Roads: I
  • Must apply using GR Application (link will be included) [Will be updated Tomorrow]
  • Must be willing to lead a small group and prayer service
  • Must be able to attend Gospel Roads Young Team Retreat
  • Local Ministry will be consulted as a reference for applicant

Registration Process

Group Registration

Individual Registration

Google forms application opens. Google forms application opens.
CYM (for school groups) or Service Coordinator (for parish groups) signs up their whole group via the Google forms application. Individual participant signs up via the Google forms application.
Sponsoring agency (school or parish) pays all program deposits and final payments for whole group by respective due dates*. All payments must be made by sponsoring agency. No individual checks from participants are accepted by the OYM.
*All registrations that come after the deadline will be subject to a $50 late fee charge.

CYM or Service Coordinator submits all participant and adult Consent and Release forms via the OYM website. Individual submits consent and release form AND a letter of recommendation from their CYM or Parish.

Necessary Documents for Registration

  • Consent and Release Forms
    • Each youth and adult must fill out a form.
    • Scanned and sent to the OYM prior to the program. Originals must be turned in to the Director on site.
    • OYM website will be set up for all groups to submit their forms.
  • Adult Chaperones:
    • Driver’s License and Driving Record [Pending if the adult chaperone is needed to drive]
    • Signed Adult Chaperone Agreement Form (explains the role of an Adult Chaperone)
  • Payments
    • Deposit (by due date)
    • Final Payment (by due date)
  • Virtus/Safe Environments
    • The OYM in collaboration with the local Directors should confirm the requirements needed to work with young people (Virtus, Safe Environments, Custom program or Diocese specific requirements)

Completed Registration Checklist

  • Whole group is registered via Registration (Google Forms)
  • Payment is made by the Due Date (See Chart below for Program Due Dates)
  • All Consent and Release forms (Adult and Participants) are turned in
  • Adults Background Checks/Driving Records/Virtus Proof of Completion turned in.
  • If a parish chooses to send their Parish Priest from a NON-SALESIAN work, a letter of good standing is required.
  • Travel plans must be shared a minimum of 4 weeks before start of the program.

Registration Policies

  • Payments
    • All payments must be submitted by the sponsoring agency. No individual checks from participants are accepted for GROUP REGISTRATION. 
    • Individual Registration must complete payment on time or registration will be cancelled.
    • If the program has an option to pay via PayPal, the program cost will increase slightly due to PayPal fees. Please note if refunds are requested, the PayPal fee will not be refunded.
  • Cancellation
    • Pending program date, last day you can cancel with no fee. (5 weeks)
    • Group leaders are responsible for finding substitutes for participants if there are any drop outs or switches to the group.
    • Groups are not considered fully registered until the entire group has registered (adult chaperone(s), participants).
  • Refunds
    • Cancellation 30 days prior to the start of the program: 50% refunded*
    • Cancellation 15 days prior to the start of the program: 0% refunded*
    • *All deposits, late registration, and any PayPal fees are not refundable.
