Who are the Salesian Sisters?

A family united in Christ
to witness, to serve and to proclaim God's love
reaching out to the young in every part of the world.
We are the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians -
Salesian Sisters of St. John Bosco
as most people know us.
We are a community of consecrated women
unafraid of confronting the challenges encountered
in the world of youth.
We are called by God and sent
to educate and guide the youth of today
in the spirit of St. John Bosco and St. Mary Mazzarello.
We, Salesian Sisters
are compelled by the love of Christ and His Word
to collaborate in the Church's saving mission.
Mary, the Help of Christians and mother of Jesus
is our mother and guide.
She models the ideals of womanhood
as she commits her life to the mission of her Son.
We follow her example
as we live our Salesian charism
in fidelity to the Church at the service of youth.
